Damn Jolien, back at it again with the much too late new post! Well, as my mother always says: que sera, sera. Chim Chim Cher-ee Chim Cher-oo. Get ready for an update on my latest and gayest favorites!

I have been loving many new and approved products that have crept their way into my static make-up stash since our last little talk so let me showcase you some of them right now!

Undoubtable base favorites are my newest and favoritist (yes, I’ve made it a word) loves, the Lancôme Miracle Cushion Foundation in 010 Alabaster and the MAC Prep + Prime Highlighter in both Light and Medium. Gorgeous, flawless and most importantly natural looking yet delivering more than enough light to medium coverage. Big fan. Insert foam finger flailing.

For blush, bronzer, contour shade and whatnot I have, as per usual, been going back and forth between many different shades and brands, but a newfound love of mine has to be MAC Pink Cult. I think it was part of the Artificially Wild collection back in 2014 (which I lusted over and spent on profusely), so unfortunately enough it’s not available anymore. Such a shame since surprisingly it’s not that easy to find an actual mid-tone dirty neutral pink. Not too pink yet not too dull either. Just pinkfect.

I’ve also just recently picked up the much hyped about NYX Blush in Taupe that many beauty bloggers and gurus have raved about as being one of the best affordable contour shades out there and, well, I must say that I agree. This little fella really does pack a punch without hurting the pouch. Again, big fan.

Other favorites include my favorite lengthening and lash wow-ing mascara’s, Benefit Roller Lash and the Diorshow Iconic Overcurl. Much length, no smudge or flake. HUGE fan.

I’ve reverted back to using MAC Omega and Mystery for filling in my brows, using MAC Tailor Grey as my first step in achieving sharp and fleek as fuck brows and using Givenchy‘s new Mister Brow Groom Universal Brow Setter to comb them through.

MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Constructivist and Perky have been steady don’t-have-much-time-to-faff-around products, as has NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Abu Dhabi. Oh, and not to forget that new Lancôme Grandiôse liner! Not the easiest to apply (their Artliner is far more superior in that aspect), but oh lawd this is the only liner I’ve ever used that stays put and doesn’t smudge! It’s matte, so no weird shine on yo line either.

And last but not least, Lancôme has really stepped up their game these last few months because their newest matte lipsticks have completely won me over, especially their L’Absolu Rouge Lipstick in Berry Noir. Creamy, not too drying at all and still very long-lasting. Love this shade in particular!

Please don’t hesitate to share your latest beauty finds (or even books or series or whatever!) in the comments below and until next time – cheerio!
